The tattoo side

Small
details.
Real meaning.

Golden Hour leans toward delicate, botanical, illustrative and meaningful, but we cover a broad range of styles, from fineline to traditional. Bring the half-formed idea, the saved screenshots, the sentence you can’t stop thinking about and we’ll turn it into something that belongs just to you.

The event side

Golden Hour is going places.

The mobile studio is still on the horizon, but the events start now. Golden Hour is opening a limited number of venue-based dates for private parties, bookstores, weddings, markets, and other gatherings that deserve something more memorable than another photo booth.

Every date begins with a venue-fit review and required approvals.

How it works

No weird surprises.
Just a clear plan.

  1. 01

    Check the venue

We’ll review the date, event format, tattooing area and whether the space appears capable of meeting the health requirements.

  2. 02

    See the likely range

You’ll get a preliminary estimate before committing, including setup needs and an early guest-sales target.

  3. 03

    Reserve the date

After the venue review, the signed agreement and $500 booking retainer hold your date.

  4. 04

    Make it yours

We’ll build the flash, choose price tiers and confirm the guest flow and final guarantee.

Meet Sara

The artist behind Golden Hour.

I’m a tattoo artist originally from Arkansas, but currently based in Vero Beach, Florida. I care about the tiny details, making people feel comfortable, and creating art around an experience. Golden Hour events are built the same way: thoughtful art, an easy setup and a little bit of magic.

The practical stuff

A few good questions.

Do you already have a mobile tattoo studio?+

Not yet. Golden Hour currently creates compliant pop-up setups inside host venues that pass the venue review. The future mobile studio is officially in the works.

What is included in the $500 booking retainer?+

The current retainer includes a $285 allowance for licensing and biomedical-waste requirements plus $215 for planning, venue coordination and reserving the date. The full retainer applies toward the event total.

How many people can get tattooed?+

Simple event flash usually allows about 2–4 tattoos per hour. The final capacity depends on the designs, sizes, placements, price tiers and expected guest count.

Can guests choose any tattoo they want?+

Event tattoos come from an approved flash collection designed for the event. That keeps the experience cohesive, the timing realistic, and the line moving.

Are there age or venue restrictions?+

Tattoos are for guests 18+ with valid ID. The venue and proposed tattooing area must pass the preliminary review before a date can be confirmed.

What is considered 'venue-ready'?+

A proposed tattoo area with an unobstructed, compliant handwashing sink—or a private artist-use restroom with a qualifying sink—plus running water, liquid soap, single-use paper towels, a waste bin, adequate lighting, and nonabsorbent, easily cleanable flooring and walls. Final eligibility is confirmed during the venue-fit review and remains subject to health-department approval.

What counts as inside the local area?+

Any venue more than 25 driving miles from central Vero Beach. Travel, tolls and overnight accommodations, if needed, are quoted separately.
